Awesome Music / The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie

Go To

Fittingly for a game serving as an epilogue to the Phantasmal Blaze arc, Reverie continues Falcom's record of awesome music tracks in the Trails Series...even if some fans question the naming of said tracks.

Awesome Music pages are Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned.

  • "No End No World" serves as the bopping opening theme of this tale of three heroes. There's also an instrumental version serving as the Leitmotif of Ishmelga-Rean.
  • "The Destination of FATE" wonderfully sets the stage for the Special Support Section to retake Crossbell. And it works even better when used in the final chapter for the climactic battle against simulacra Rufus and the brainwashed Ilya.
  • "Zero Break Battle" perfectly marks the start of an epic struggle, rather ironically for the theme of the prologue boss. Perhaps this was done on purpose to foreshadow its return for the actual final boss of the main story, "Ishmelga of the End."
  • "Aim a Gun at the Bullet", a hard-rocking battle theme used for certain bosses.
  • "Sword of Swords" is a fantastic piece for showdowns against the human bosses.
  • "Flash Your Fighting Spirit", for all of the memes about "chicken clucking," still manages to be an enjoyable piece to play while you take down those annoying mid-bosses.
  • The battle theme for Lloyd's route, "Stand Up Again and Again" takes noticeable cues from Azure's "Seize the Truth!", and serves as a personification of the Special Support Section's determination to keep on going no matter how many times they're knocked down.
  • The battle theme for Rean's route, "Like a Whirlwind" doesn't even try to hide how it's obviously cut from the same rocking cloth as Cold Steel IV's "Burning Throb," nor should it have to.
  • The battle theme for the True Reverie Corridor, "Infinity Rage", is an absolute banger, and a go-to choice for fighting numerous monsters, machines, and other beings with your party of choice.
  • The battle theme for C/Rufus's route, "Wind-Up Yesterday!" is a contender for the classiest normal battle theme in the series, quite fitting for the elegant masked man and his doll companion.
  • "Stake Everything Strategy" is a fittingly hard orchestral theme for fights against mechanical bosses.
  • "Ryureitogo" ("Elegant Prowess"), as the title implies, is an elegant-sounding boss theme used in certain boss fights.
  • "Be Caught Up!", the low health theme, is a frantic song encouraging you to regain the advantage.
  • "Breeding Innumerable Arms", the theme for the Reinford Munitions Factory. It is one of the best dungeon themes in the game, with some suitably epic trance/techno for the dungeon. Doubles as Suspiciously Similar Song since some segments sound exactly like "Smooth Criminal".
  • "Pyro Labyrinth", the theme for the escape from the burning Reinford factory after the McBurn simulacrum sets it ablaze. A suitably fire track that manages to be one of the best of the "Cheap Trap" series of songs.
  • "Hide and Seek by Myself" somehow manages to be creepy and epic at the same time. It is thus perfect as the dungeon theme for the first ever look into the Rosenberg Workshop.
  • "Furious! Destroy! Mishneider!!" is a hilariously frantic tune, symbolizing the ridiculous nature of fighting Mecha-Mishy as a boss.
  • "Twilight Hermitage" is one of the more rock-influenced dungeon themes, and greatly complements the visuals of breaking into jail for a meeting with Ian Grimwood.
  • "Heavy Violent Match" is widely considered to be one of the best boss themes in the game, if not the best. Composer Yukihiro Jindo and guitarist Masaru Teramae perfectly encapsulate the epic battles against Demon McBurn and Emperor-Dogma. It also makes the various Trial Doors even more exciting.
  • "Invisible Hilly Country" nicely exemplifies the beauty and wonder of the TRC's grassy landscape areas.
  • "Emergency Order" is a very hard-rocking boss theme used for some of the TRC's early boss fights.
  • "Pom's Paradise" is a fun little tune surprisingly similar to FC's "Sophisticated Fight," perfect for beating on the Poms of the TRC.
  • "Bad Dream Invasion" is another rocking piece used for the last opponents of the TRC's later floors.
  • "The Road to All-Out War" does its job of hyping up the player as the SSS, Class VII (New and Old), the "Imperial Picnicking Front", and their allies team-up to prevent the enemy from conquering the continent.
  • "Keraunos -Fear and Hatred-", a very ominous and bombastic track used for the appearance of the final dungeon.
  • "Reverse Babel" is an epically poignant final dungeon theme, as you must take two groups of 20 characters each to get to the weapon of mass destruction threatening all of Zemuria.
  • "The Perfect Steel of ZERO" is a fantastic orchestral theme detailing the struggle against the Final Boss, Zoa-Gilstein, the Divine Knight of Zero.
  • "Steel Fortress", the dungeon theme of Tita's second episode, has the perfect blend of techno and guitar rock as you take a quintet of schoolgirls through a mad science experiment.
  • "Challenger Invigorated", used as the primary battle theme of Duvalie's episode, truly gives off the feeling of spirited competition.
  • "Twinkle Attack", used as the primary theme for Stage 1 of the Magical Alisa LS minigame. A very action-y track, fitting the vibe of the minigame.
