Heroes of Envell (Russian: Герои Энвелла) is Russian Painted CGI animated series created by Parovoz Studio, ordered by CTV on February 23, 2017. Events unfold in St. Petersburg, and the main characters are four teenagers: Art, Kira, Phil and Vic
In season 1, the main heroes finds a strange laptop, opening which they get into the game. The joy of unexpected entertainment quickly wears off when players learn that the final boss named Morgarth wants to get out in reality and Take Over the World.The young heroes will have to endure many exciting adventures, face challenges and even suffer losses before they can stop Morgarth
In season 2, after 1.5 year Time Skip, the grown-up characters are trying to cope with personal problems and experienced losses, but suddenly a signal for help comes from the game. Art, Kira, Vic and Phil return to the world of Envell, meet old acquaintances there, but in new roles...
This show provides examples of:
- Big Bad: Morgarth is the final boss of game and main villain in season 1. In the second half of season 2 he's back as main villain
- Boring, but Practical : Art has the simplest class in the game - Knight, who just armed with the sword-gun, shield and jet-boots. But it's very good in combat and puzzles
