And The Fandom Rejoiced / Super Sentai

• Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is now pulling what Kamen Rider Decade did, only with all 35 seasons of heroes. With a similar first episode. With almost every ranger ever. That's just under 200 rangers on screen at once fighting an enemy empire. That made the fandom forget that the yellow ranger would eventually find the power to transform into Big One.
  • Movie sounds good. But really old school rangers aren't going to get love because most of them are retired (aside of Kenji Ohba as Denzi Blue)...Akaranger and Big One? That's predictab — HOLY SHIT ARE THOSE GOGGLE BLACK, DYNA PINK, RED ONE and RED TURBO!?!? Cue Squees from old school fans.
    • AND not to mention a Battle Royale between an army of enlarged villains going up against every single Humongous Mecha in the series.
  • Here's a bigger one recently: Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie!! Yes, you heard it folks, the original Metal Hero is back, in HD even and still with Kenji Ohba as Retsu Ichijouji! Keep your fingers crossed for perhaps a revival of the Metal Heroes franchise!
    • Because of the movie's positive reception, guess what? They are making a revival after all!
    • The better part? Sharivan and Shaider are in the movie as well!
    • What's that? New Sharivan will be played by Riki Miura AKA Gou Fukami/GekiViolet? New Shaider will be played by Hiroaki Iwanaga AKA Akira Date/Kamen Rider Birth AKA Eiji Ishiguro/R5? This is just getting better and better.
• They are even planning a Kamen Rider Vs. Super Sentai Crossover movie now!
  • And now they've confirmed a second one, this time involving the Space Sheriffs!
    • This led to 2 more^note Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3 - granted, in both cases, there was more of a focus on Kamen Rider^note Super Sentai WAS represented - the ToQgers and Kyoryu Red appeared in the former, while the Ninningers appeared in the latter - but the Metal Heroes are absent, but still, it does show that there IS an interest in these movies - and maybe, if we're lucky, there will eventually be one featuring Ultraman alongside Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and the Metal Heroes.
• Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger was a strange hit and, after the completion of the series many had wondered if there would be another season of the show. Come "Super Hero Festival", after the stage shows involving the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai, when Nobuo Akagi walks in, bemusing the boringness of the everyday life until the package he carried with him starts beeping, revealing his transformation device. Overcome with emotion, he tells the fans the good news:
  Nobuo: Hatte Saburo...said Akibaranger...WILL HAVE ANOTHER GO!

• While there's a lot of this in regards to Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, the recent confirmation that the cast of Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger are in talks for a crossover of Kyoryuger and Zyuranger just about made things explode. Even more so with the actress who played Ptera Ranger confirming that yes, original Sixth Ranger and Ensemble Dark Horse Burai would be included in this too. Moreso, Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger will also join in! It's a three-way Dino-Sentai crossover! With the Go-Busters.
• After years of relying on fansubs and bootlegs, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger is finally getting an official release in North America from Shout! Factory, opening up the opportunity of more Super Sentai releases in the region.
  • And it succeeded, we're getting Gosei Sentai Dairanger next.
  • These have done so well that not only have we gotten Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, but we're also getting Chouriki Sentai Ohranger.
  • And now we can add Gekisou Sentai Carranger. The Shout Factory hits keep on coming!
  • So far, the series Shout! Factory that are bringing over are the ones that have been adapted into Power Rangers, in chronological order. However, September 2018 will see the release of Choujin Sentai Jetman in North America, making it the first Super Sentai series with no Power Rangers adaptation to be fully available in North America. This bolds wells for other pre-Zyuranger series to make it overseas.
  • After several years without any new Super Sentai DVD releases, Shout Factory returns to release Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman on DVD.
• The Metal Hero Jiraiya will be teaming up with the Ninningers in an upcoming episode! Oh, and watch that episode while you're at it! Yoshi Sudarso, Koda of Power Rangers Dino Charge will be showing up, too, marking the first time an actor from Power Rangers showed up in a Super Sentai series!
• The 1999th and 2000th episode of Super Sentai rest within the 40th Anniversary Season Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, and will include the return of ALL SIX GOKAIGERS!
• There is going to be a crossover between Dekaranger and space sheriff Gavan!
  • On top of that, one of the villains is none other than Madgallant...and he's not alone, since Satan Gorth returned!
• After the divisive reactions to previous seasons' suit and mecha designs, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger has received unanimous praise for its aesthetic, particularly towards the detail of visors that appear to reflect stars.
  • Not to mention that the show will have the largest number of rangers in any sentai to date (a total of NINE members!), as well as the first female green ranger in the franchise's history (MidoNinger notwithstanding).
  • And then it was revealed that Raptor 283/Washi Pink will be voiced by M•A•O, aka Luka Millfy! This marks both the return of a fan-favorite actress and one of the few times that an actor who played a role for a previous sentai got a role for another sentai.
  • One of the biggest voice actor reveals has to be for Champ/Oushi Black being played by Akio Ōtsuka (of Metal Gear Solid fame), who is returning for a sentai show once again.
• All right, let's see what the Sixth Ranger for Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger will be like. Twokaiser? Ugh, lame, he just looks like a golden Gokaiger-wait hold on...his Geardalinger. That's not Lenne Hardt's voice. That's Tomokazu Seki's voice! They brought him back to voice a Transformation Trinket in reference to him voicing the Mobilates?!
• The announcement of a special starring Yodonna from Mashin Sentai Kiramager has been met with a high amount of excitement, with many interested in the prospect a villain-centric special or just happy to see Yodonna again.
• So it seems we're not getting any more V-Cinema 10 Years After movies following Go-Onger... Wait, a Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger 20 Years After Movie with the whole main cast again?!
• And it's a shame that Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger never got a V-Cinema 10 Years After, mostly due to Ranru's actress being retired... Wait a minute, it too will get a 20 Years After movie? And Ranru's actress is back from retirement. Even better? Mikoto Nakadai/AbareKiller and Asuka/AbareBlack return out of suit again! Finally the 5 man team has reunited for another rampage!
