* PolygonCeiling: The third-person action-RPG nature of the game, along with camera control issues, alienated much of the traditional fanbase, even though the setting and characters have become cult classics.

Heck, Tron was announced as playable for ''Marvel Vs Capcom 3'' before any other Mega Man character, and, along with [[MegaManX Zero]], another fellow EnsembleDarkhorse, they are the only MegaMan representants in the game.
