* CompleteMonster: [[DarkActionGirl Roxanne of Love and Hate]], a former "Number One" of the Organization, differs from the majority of other villains in the series by being an outright cruel and violent {{sadist}}. Initially a low ranking warrior, Roxanne rose up the ranks by [[ManipulativeBastard seducing/befriending]] and eventually murdering stronger warriors after stealing their techniques. Eventually, she set her sights on the existing Number One Cassandra, but when she saw Cassandra's technique, she decided it was unsightly and gave Cassandra the hated moniker "Dust-Eater." She later set up Cassandra's only friend to die a torturous death at the hands of a Awakened Being and mocked Cassandra by saying that her friend had looked as if she had "enjoyed" being played with by the monster, so interfering wouldn't have been right. Cassandra snapped and attacked her. Roxanne used the other 45 warriors as [[HumanShield shields]], relishing in their fear of Cassandra and cackling at how hideous Cassandra's abilities were. When Cassandra finally reached Roxanne, Roxanne gleefully impaled her head with the pommel of her sword, a technique stolen from her first victim.

**[[BigBad Rimuto]] is the head of [[TheOmniscientCouncilOfVagueness the Organization]] and the one responsible for its [[PlayingWithSyringes inhumane activities]]. Rimuto has [[WouldHurtAChild orphans]] taken by the Organization, turning the boys into inhuman monsters, either Yoma or Awakened Beings, while the girls are turned into Claymores. The lifespans of Claymores are typically short, either dying or becoming monsters themselves to perpetuate the cycle, with Rimuto having countless killed to keep their operations going. Utterly unconcerned with his test subjects, Rimuto even states warriors who die quicker are best, and when villages refuse to pay the fees, Yoma are sent to wipe them out completely. Throughout the course of the series, Rimuto keeps his warriors as disposable cannon fodder, conducting worst experiments on innocents while being [[ForScience wholly unconcerned with all who die in the crossfire]].

** I think the whole point was Teresa starting to show emotions and acting upon them, and them leading to her death. First she showed sadness to Clare, then wrath towards the bandits, and finally mercy against Priscilla. While living with emotions made her life alot shorter, it also made it alot happier.

* WhatAnIdiot: Teresa deciding to break the Claymores's cardinal rule and butcher the bandits that tortured Clare is meant to be a tragic choice, but it is hard not to see it as an act of awful thinking given that she never bothered to take any of the many options she had to take revenge on them without being expelled from the Organization. She could have crippled the bandits with her sheathed sword, or merely chopped their limbs like she did to the first of them earlier - or, if she was that bent on killing them, she should have ensured she didn't leave any witnesses who could inform about her role in their deaths. Even although Teresa might have abandoned the desire to continue being a Claymore, she should have known the best thing for Clare's safety was ''not'' to make an enemy out of the Organization.

* MagnificentBastard: Isley, the Silver King, was the first of the Creatures of the Abyss, the first Number 1 of the first and only male generation of Claymores. Upon meeting the powerful Priscilla and learning her power, Isley submits to her, intending on manipulating her to bring the world under his control. Bringing about a war in the North with his former comrades now as Awakened Beings, Isley splits his forces in half to sacrifice them against another Abyssal One and the Claymore Organization while he heads South to defeat the third Abyssal One and take her lands. Bonding with TheHeroine Clare's former companion Raki, Isley truly grows to love him and Priscilla as family and even sends them away when the monstrous Abyssal Feeders come for him to save their lives. Even post-mortem, we learn Isley only ever Awakened to begin with voluntarily to stop his former comrades and instilled Raki with a plan to help stop Priscilla if she became a monster, a plan that Raki manages to pull off thanks to his teachings.

* CompleteMonster: ''Manga/{{Claymore}}'': [[DarkActionGirl Roxanne of Love and Hate]], the former greatest warrior and "Number One" of the Organization, differs from the majority of other villains in the series by being a cruel, violent {{sadist}}. Initially a low ranking warrior, Roxanne began to [[ManipulatuiveBastard seduce, befriend]] and eventually murder stronger warriors after stealing their techniques. Eventually, she set her sights on Number One Cassandra, but when she saw Cassandra's technique, she spitefully decided she hated it and gave Cassandra the hated name "Dust-Eater." She later set up Roxanne's only friend to die a torturous death at the hands of a monstrous Awakened Being and mocked Cassandra that the other warrior had looked as if she had "enjoyed" the beast playing with her, so interfering wouldn't have been right. Just as Roxanne had known she would, Cassandra snapped and attacked her. Roxanne used the other 45 warriors as [[HumanShield shields]], relishing in their fear of Cassandra and cackling how hideous Cassandra's abilities were. When Cassandra finally reached Roxanne, Roxanne gleefully impaled her head with the pommel of her sword.

Already approved; just twealed.

* CompleteMonster: Former Number 1, Roxanne. With good looks to fool you, she's regardless an absolute sadist, especially in regard to her former comrade [[TheWoobie Cassandra]]. [[spoiler: Her MoralEventHorizon, as revealed in 119, is causing the death of Cassandra's only friend, then mocking her to make her go berserk on the other Warriors. She then impales Cassandra's head with the sharp pommel of her sword. The Awakened Being killed Cassandra's friend very, very slowly, and it's implied it raped her. Roxanne cheerily says she looked like she was enjoying herself, so interfering wouldn't be right.]]

Adding Ensemble Darkhorse based on comments and forums

Added DiffLines:

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Teresa only had a few scenes, but quickly became very beloved by the fans.
** Isley's a bit more of a [[CoolHorse literal example,]] but his cool looks (both Awakened and not), awesome fighting style, and overall good treatment of Raki won him quite a lot of fans.
** [[AffablyEvil Riful]] and [[DumbMuscle Dauf's]] [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther interesting relationship]] and strength made them a LoveToHate due to fans.

* GodModeSue: Priscilla. [[spoiler: She's so incredibly powerful that no one can beat her, that even a strand of her own DNA is enough to possess Abyssal level Awakens, and she hasn't lost a. Single. Battle.]] Gets quite annoying how the goal Clare had set for herself is unattainable with these odds.

Point taken RE: Teresa, changed article to reflect.

* JumpingTheShark: A lot of fans have put their hands up and walked away from the series at some point during the final battle against Priscilla. She kills interesting and likeable characters ([[WeHardlyKnewYe often soon after they're introduced and before they have the chance to be fleshed out]]), and she's so damn unkillable that it'll take an AssPull to finish her off. [[spoiler:Like Teresa essentially coming back from the dead]].
** Technically, [[spoiler: Teresa coming back is not out of nowhere, as it was hinted at earlier in the story.]]

** Technically, [[spoiler: Perhaps an AssPull won't be needed after all, [[spoiler:as Teresa coming back is not out of nowhere, as it was hinted at earlier in the story.story -- her presence inside of Clare was implied even as far back as Clare's first meeting with Miria, when Miria told Clare that Clare's rank bothered her because it had felt as if "the strongest was standing before [her]". Turns out that in a sense, it was true.]]

* TooCoolToLive: Teresa, Jean, Flora, possibly Irene. Miria would have counted had she not been spared by the other Claymores. The author admitted that if Teresa had survived or were somehow revived, he would have to rewrite the whole story.
