Each time the little grandmas displayed change costume according to the upgrade (for example, buy the one that increases the mines' CPS, and some of your grandmas will dress as miners). So far so good... Until you get the "portal" upgrade, called "altered grandmas", which turn some of them into deformed lumps of flesh...

Luckily, despite their appearance, they're nothing more than a nuisance.

* As you earn achievements, the pool of milk turns brown (chocolate), and then... red. It's supposed to be "rapsberry milk," an AuthorAppeal substance that most players have never heard of. Instead, you're likely to think it's [[OverdrawnAtTheBloodBank a huge pool of blood]]. The fact that it turns red around the time you hit the Grandmapocalypse doesn't help.
