* ''WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends'' plays this differently depending on which side of the fandom you are looking at. Among Japanese fans, the characters that get genderbended the most often are the four originally female characters. Out of the boys, designing female Russell, Lumpy and possibly Flippy seems to be the most common, although it is easier to tell who never is bent. Most of the results from searching for genderbends by the western fandom are either Flippy as a woman or female {{copycat sue}}s based on him.

* Website/FourChan is already doing this with ''Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica'', with Madoka being a [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair pink-haired]] Boy, Mami looking like a prince, and Homura as a long-haired {{Bishonen}}. There are a number of cases of gender-flipping only one member of a [[{{Shipping}} pairing]] to make them a heterosexual couple, but we don't talk about those.

* One of the many {{Alternate Universe}}s depicted in ''Manga/KaguyaSamaLoveIsWar Official Doujin'' is a world where Shuchiin Academy is an all-girl's school, resulting in Kaguya and Shirogane's DuelOfSeduction being reinterpreted as a RomanticTwoGirlFriendship.

** Of the three Runaway Guys, LetsPlay/ProtonJon gets a lot of fanart of many distaff counterparts of himself during his livestreams. Popular depictions are Pon-Pon, which spawned from a fanartist giving him the JustForFun/{{Bowsette}} treatment, Jontae, a version based on VideoGame/{{Shantae}}, and Rosajon, a version based on [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Rosalina]] plus GagBoobs. Another known distaff counterpart is a parallel universe depiction of him as a female streamer, complete with a dog named Biscuit (as a counterpart of Jon's cat Bagel, who is often seen changing forms based on which alt he's paired with (such as Rosajon getting Bagel as a Luma)). Stephen Georg even asks him about the alts during episode 3 of the ''Podcast/DiscOnlyPodcast'', and was surprised that there are "three boob timelines", one for Rosajon, one for Pon-Pon, and a much older one for an alt named Electron Jen.
