* ManipulativeBastard: Downplayed in that there are some Habiticians that were suspicious of his true intentions thanks to his antics as of late getting more and more disturbing, and even one Habitician flat-out ready to fight him. But he still managed to trick, and lure 21 people into thinking the Habitat will help them heal and deal with their problems. He even managed to keep his colleagues/friends/ex-friends Kamal and Wallus in the dark about his true intentions with the Habitat, even after they hide from him in the Habitat. He also purposefully makes people unhappy by having PSA's saying unhelpful, even outright damaging advice, keeping certain places closed like the carnival and the lounge, and even does a little fear-mongering by having [[BigBrotherIsWatching security cameras placed around the Habitat]], and keeping them occupied with their problems. [[spoiler:And it's all to have the 'Big Event' happen without any problems...[[SpannerInTheWorks until a certain Flower Kid shows up at the Habitat.]]]]

* TheDreaded: Downplayed as some of the residents just find him annoying and [[spoiler:[[KidHero Putunia]] in particular, wants to pick a fight with him, calling him "The Green Menace"]]. That being said, he still unnerves some of the other guests with his latest PSA's getting eerie, the strict curfew rules and the [[ParanoiaFuel punishment that follows]] [[BigBrotherIsWatching if you break 'em]], and just [[SanitySlippage not acting all that sane lately]]. Wallus and Kamal in particular, ''are'' terrified of facing him.

* AbsurdlySharpClaws: His fingers aren't only long...they are apparently as sharp as claws.

* AcCENTUponTheWrongSylLABle: Seems to speak this way, if the way his dialogue is typed out is any indication.

* WouldHurtAChild: With what his motives are, the main characters is a child themself, and some of the Habticians are children, safe to say he has little qualms [[spoiler:of pulling teeth out while they are drugged up.]]

* [[spoiler:PaintingSmiliesOnYourSoul:]] [[spoiler:His ultimate goal is to drug people up to the point of them being mindlessly happy so that they don't have to worry when he pulls their teeth out, or even feel it. Whether they stay that way, or the gas wears off is unclear, but the bad and nuetral endings implied that the it didn't wear off if them not showing up in the [[CreativeClosingCredits credits]] says anything.]]

* TeensAreShort: She doesn't seem to have hit her growth spurt yet.

* OneHundredPercentAdorationRating: Multiple characters comment on how much they like her singing.

* BlindingBangs: His eyes are never seen behind his fringe.

* CastFullOfGay: You'd be hard-pressed to find a heterosexual relationship that's survived to the present day among the cast. The closest thing would be Trevor's crush on Nat, and even that's shown to be one-sided.

* RapunzelHair: It reaches at least her hips.

* SexySpectacles: Part of cheering her up is going to get her glasses, which she says complements her HotTeacher look. For what it's worth, she looks pretty good, if not better, with them on.

* FlowerMotifs: Applies to a lesser extent than Flower Kid and [[spoiler:Habit]], but he takes care of plants (and by extension, flowers) as a hobby. Part of his quest is growing a couple of flowers for him, and he will give you a pair of shears with a floral design as a reward. [[spoiler:If you do not cheer him up before the Big Event, [[SurrealSymbolicHeads his head will be replaced with a flower]].]]

* SurrealSymbolicHeads: [[spoiler:If you don't cheer all of them up, the ones left in the habitat will have their heads replaced with objects and images related to their personalities.]]

* FlowerMotifs: They delivered flowers prior to joining the Habitat, and flowers come up a lot during their story, such as growing flowers for Trencil and listening to him talk about it, receiving a painting of flowers from Dallas and hanging it up in their room, and [[spoiler:growing a Tooth Lily for Habit, if the player chooses to. This also may be one of the reasons Habit points out why they're NotSoDifferent from him, since they both have an interest in flowers and know how to cultivate a flower as gentle and rare as a Tooth Lily.]]

* NotSoDifferent: Also to Dr. Habit, namely due to their [[spoiler:mutual interest in flowers]] and apparent desire to cheer all of the Habitat's residents up. Dr. Habit himself even remarks on their similarities, albeit unfavorably.

* FlowerMotifs: [[spoiler:Habit has been interested in flowers since he was a child but was forced to give up his dream of becoming a florist. Giving him a newly grown Tooth Lily is what prompts his HeelFaceTurn, as someone who only knows about him on an intimate level would know how to grow one, and, as he points out, the Tooth Lily is such a delicate flower that very particular care must be taken to grow it. This is also part of makes him a {{Foil}}, or perhaps ''[[NotSoDifferent similar]]'' to Flower Kid, and he even tells them that they remind him of himself when he was younger.]]

* NotSoDifferent: With Habit. She’s implied to have AbusiveParents just like him, is revealed to be missing a tooth when her picture is taken [[spoiler:(Habit’s own biggest insecurity)]], and her name references flowers [[spoiler:(Habit’s old passion)]]. To top it all off, [[spoiler: the caption under her picture on Habit’s bulletin board says, "So strong. Little one understands. :-("]]

* ConMan: Sells products for ridiculous prices, and ends up giving customers a cheap excuse for whatever he was supposedly selling. He tries to get you to buy a metal detector for an [[EleventyZillion impossible amount]] and even says OneBornEveryMinute, verbatim, but said metal detector is just a magnet attached to a stick. When showing his picture to Wallus, Wallus says he wants a refund because the flashlight Gerry sold him was a lightbulb on a stick.

* LennonSpecs: She wears a pair of red, round sunglasses.

* ZettaiRyouiki: Grade D; her socks a little below her knees.

* OneSidedRivalry: With Trencil. He thinks that Trencil is secretly converting all of the other Habiticians into vampires - Trencil, however, just thinks of him as a nuisance. It probably doesn't help that Trevor has a crush on Trencil's daughter Nat, if his Kiss dialogue is anything to go by.

* AllLovingHero: They have a reputation as such, since a few other characters apparently have fond memories of them from before the Habitat, they end up cheering up all of the Habiticians, and [[spoiler:can even trigger Dr. Habit's HeelRealization and set him on the path to redemption, provided they have the right items.]] Dallas even calls them "flower child" a few times.

* {{Foil}}: Arguably, to Dr. Habit. Both of them are associated with flowers, and they share an end goal of making all of the Habiticians happy, but through vastly different means and for vastly different reasons. Flower Kid has a reputation as an AllLovingHero among the Habiticians while Habit is regarded as a mystery at best and a total creepshow at worst (albeit justifiably). While Flower Kid comes across as altruistic while helping the Habiticians, Habit is very insistent that they only smile for ''him,'' [[spoiler:and is revealed to have very ''odd'' ideas about what it means to make people happy, anyway.]] And while playing as Flower Kid means paying attention to each Habitician's individual issues and desires in order to cheer them up one at a time, Habit's "Big Event" involves [[spoiler:gassing them with nitrous oxide all at once as a sort of blanket solution, without actually solving any of their problems - instead, the gas just makes them forget what they were so worried about to begin with.]]

* AbusiveParents: His father [[spoiler:is shown to have beat him bloody at least once during his childhood, and he later mentions it having cost him a few teeth.]]

* AmbiguouslyGay: It's implied that [[spoiler: the reason his father beat him as a child was because of his more effeminate behaviors,]] but he never shows signs of attraction to anyone in the game proper. That being said, one of the Steam trading cards [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/smile-for-me/images/d/db/Valbentinesdaye.png/revision/latest?cb=20190801021451 has him sending a plethora of Valentine's Day gifts]] to his assistant Kamal, along with a framed photograph of himself apparently intended for Kamal to ''kiss'', according to the card's description (which is written in a more exaggerated version of [[AcCENTUponTheWrongSylLABle Habitspeak]]):

* AmbiguouslyHuman: It isn't given too much notice in favour of focusing on his very human backstory and motives, but even in a world where vampires exist, Habit is an oddity. He can't be photographed, only showing up as a silhouette with two red eyes and a large grin whenever the player tries. He is very, very tall (second only to Borbra and possibly Mirphy - Yugo Limbo [[https://twitter.com/yugsly/status/1182873187412922370?s=19 confirms him to stand at 7'4"]]) and has naturally "sharp" fingers that he's complained about on the official Twitter account. He has the ability to 'speak' emojis somehow. And of course, there's the fact that he is ultimately held back by morals instead of physical ability when it comes to [[spoiler: stealing other people's teeth and putting them in his own mouth]] since by the time you meet in person, he's amassed [[spoiler: three rows]] with no ill effects.

* BlueAndOrangeMorality: He genuinely wants to make people smile. The problem just lies in [[InsaneTrollLogic his]] [[DepravedDentist methods]].
* DepravedDentist: [[spoiler: He evokes this by strapping Flower Kid to a dentist's chair and threatening to remove all of their teeth to make his own smile even bigger.]] It's unknown if he was this [[spoiler:back when he actually ''was'' a dentist, but it's at least implied that it wasn't nearly as painless as he makes it out to be in his journal entries.]]

* Letters2Numbers: He writes, types and speaks very much like someone sending a goofy text message. [[spoiler:He drops this in the game's good endings, at least physically. The epilogue reveals that it's a result of his hands being ill-suited for typing, but this doesn't stop him from trying anyway.]]

* NervousWreck: A layer of grime on his teeth makes it so that he's hardly able to focus until you manage to brush it off, one of his most frequently used sprites has him in a TroubledFetalPosition, and he first appears in one of Dr. Habit's morning announcements while Habit himself is describing the terrace as a place where people "stand up high and think about not existing," an obvious jab at Kamal himself.

* EasilyForgiven: Played with. When he apologizes in [[spoiler:the epilogue,]] nobody seems to react much to it aside from a brief acknowledgement... but only because they're surprised [[spoiler:that he's alive at all, since they haven't seen hide nor hair of him since the Habitat.]]
