[[spoiler:In the final chapter of the series (not counting the last chapter of Kumagawa), Zenkichi and Medaka have one final duel, now that both of them have no powers to help. If Zenkichi wins, she has to marry him. If Medaka wins, he has to marry her. Awww.]]

* FatalFlaw: Despite creating Styles, which require personal expression and empathy, he was simply incapable of understanding other people's emotions. This results in his crucial oversight that Styles don't work on people who angry to listen to words, [[spoiler:which leaves him completely vulnerable to Iihiko ''accidentally'' crushing him while impatiently looking for a fight.]]

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He's massive and incredibly strong to the point where he was able to match Medaka evenly before the story started. However, judging by the increased effect of his Unknown Hero he seems to have gotten much stronger since then since people can't even remember him anymore.

* RetiredBadass: Protected the school for two years until Medaka took over.

* TheChick: Kikaijima does her best to act as the heart of the group and [[spoiler:when Zenkichi and Medaka begin fighting]] she forms a faction with the sole purpose of restoring group harmony.

* DangerouslyShortSkirt: It doesn't come up as much as her CleavageWindow, but her skirt is also much shorter than any school uniform should allow, leading to several {{Panty Shot}}s in battle.

* {{Bishounen}}: The series seems to ''love'' reminding us of how good looking and perfect Akune is.

* {{Bishounen}}: Even with all the scar marks on his chest.

* {{Bishounen}}: Unsuprisingly, he's very attractive when he finally turns around.

* MeddlingParents: She enters the story during the Kumagawa Incident Arc to help Zenkichi deal with Kumagawa.

* CurbStompCushion: His battle against Medaka in [[SuperMode War Gode Mode]] played out like this. Unzen stood no chance against her and took some heavy hits. But he was resourceful enough to get Medaka tied up in his steel strings during the fight and regain enough of his bearings to begin trash-talking and groping her before she ultimately powered through his trick.

* CurbStompCushion: His battle against Medaka in WarGodeMode played out like this. Unzen stood no chance against her and took some heavy hits. * UncannyValley: {{Invoked}} by Maguro in a bit of ConversationalTroping; it's mentioned later on in the story that Medaka seems inhuman at times precisely because she's an overly perfect human. Maguro says that it [[spoiler:lost her the Student Council President election because people found it too hard to relate to her, with the final straw being the fight with Zenkichi which seemed heartless to the students. Ajimu disagrees with this interpretation, however, and says that people realized they were relying on her too much]].

* UncannyValleyGirl: She looks perfect, sweet and kind and is a good actor, but in truth she just doesn't care about people at all.

* {{Gainaxing}}: There is a lot of this in just the first episode. Granted that the studio IS [[Creator/StudioGainax Gainax]] though.

* {{Gainaxing}}: She's quite bouncy, since her chest is even larger than Medaka's, and she can't be bothered to put on a bra.

* PoisonousFriend: After becoming friends with Zenkichi [[spoiler:he becomes willing to kill to protect his desires,]] even when nothing is really on the line.

* PoisonousFriend: Arguably at the beginning. He even claimed that his job was to go around bringing down people Medaka didn't, as she had trouble recognizing malicious intent.

* BerserkerTears: When [[spoiler:Zenkichi briefly]] dies in Chapter 71, she is so distraught that she enters War God mode, and several people have to hold her down out of fear that she'll go on a massacre.
