Sandship: The Last Engineer is a factory management game developed by Rockbite Games, avaiable in iOS and Android. Set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi universe, you control the last remaining sandship: a gigantic, artificially intelligent mega-factory, which roams across the endless deserts of a far-away planet. Noranti One was a highly advanced civilization. After an accident forced your sandship into hibernation, it awoke in a world of ruins. Join on a journey to rediscover forgotten technologies, forge a better tomorrow through crafting and trade, and fight a vicious cult hellbent on your destruction. Unlock the secrets of this cryptic land onboard your incredible sandship.

Sandship Presents Examples Of:

  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: The monster bugs we fight at the Underwell fits the bill. Round-shaped, crawling bug-like monsters that try to take out the everstone extractor.
  • Desert Punk: Noranti One is a barren planet with its deserts stretching to like its infinite.
  • Doing Research: A mechanic of the game. You need to make enough materials with your factory to research and unlock new buildings and devices to make new products.
  • Exposition Fairy: Harvey, the cyborg that helps you in the game and tells you the mechanics of the factory. He is also the one who tells you a good chunk of the lore of the game.
  • Factory-Building Game: The main objective. You build and upgrade your sandship until it hits max level.
  • Full-Conversion Cyborg: Implied. Several characters that you see, such as Harvey, seem to be all machinery with but their descriptions tells that they are indeed cyborgs.
  • Lost Technology: The place we start in the game is littered with this, there is even a particle accelerator which is considered new technology but it has been rusted over time.
  • Mechanical Lifeform: Noranti One is populated by robotic lifeforms and they are all sentient.
  • Moving Buildings: The eponymous Sandship, a gigantic, artificially intelligent mega-factory on wheels that harvests particles from the air to synthesize materials to make goods out.
  • Oh, My Gods!: Implied to be the case in Noranti One, when Vmaker says “For the well”.
  • Robot Republic: We meet a small tribe of A.I. that has made a settlement in the middle of the desert to harvest everstone.
  • This Cannot Be!: Vmaker, a Robot Girl engineer from Noranti is shocked to see that there is a remaining Sandship left, thinking that all of them were decommissioned and decides to help you out.
  • Tower Defense: The extraction of everstone consists of defending the everstone extractor while defending it from monsters with turrets and walls, while manufacturing their bullets.
  • The Voice: Jaja, a character in the first part of the game who is considered crazy by Harvey, is never seen.
  • Unobtanium: Everstone. According to Vmaker, Everstone is a mind-blowingly powerful used in the creation of boosters with collectables gained from contracts.
  • Wrench Wench: Vmaker is a Robot Girl engineer who is very knowledgeable in technology, especially in Underwell technology.
