* YourVampiresSuck: Why he killed [[Literature/{{Twilight}} Edward]] in the original ''Hurrcain'', for being a bad vampire. This is very much EarlyInstallmentWeirdness, as in the original take of that, he did it seemingly just for being a bad vampire and he would later be established as a NiceGuy among Hecksing. This was later altered (even before the ''Ultimate'' rewrite) so that Edward was comitting actual murders, to make Alucard look more sympathetic.

LONG overdue character sheet cleanup, first starting with Alucard's folder, and also adding some remake-based tropes to Jan and Luke. Alucard talking like a wise mentor and pirate were actually dropped because I forgot about them until I read those tropes over.

* AdaptationalWimp:
** Alucard is still a powerful vampire, but he is nowhere near the ShowyInvincibleHero of his canon self. He is made a goofball {{cloudcuckoolander}} that relies on tools like his tank for extra damage, and he struggles far more with enemies that he originally could annihilate. [[spoiler:He is also ''permanently'' killed off by Chapter 4 of ''Ulumate''.]]
** In ''Ultimate Chronicles'', he is even weaker, to the point where Luke actually takes out one of his lives and Alucard cannot keep up with his SuperSpeed.

** As with most of the Rainbow Crew, he's apparantly a big fan of ''Futurama'', to the point where [[spoiler:Flanders insults it as a way to get Alucard to launch him out of a tank when he runs out of other ideas to convince him]].

* CastingAShadow: As Alucard is heavily affiliated with darkness and dark-related powers even compared to other vampires. In Fan's "larger lore," he is apparently the Sage of Shadow, although what this means is yet to be clear. Various characters inspired by him in Fan/Water's other works are also heavily themed around darkness and shadow, such as Nosfo of ''Intriguing Group''.

* [[HonorBeforeReason Onor Before Reason]]: EveryoneHasStandards: In ''Ultimate''. Despite being crass, foul-mouthed, and dropping sex jokes and drawing dicks wherever, to the point where even the Major flat-out says he hates him and tells him that the Manor attack is a SuicideMission, Jan still has some limits. He namely gets creeped out by Hecksing fighting him in the nude. He also does not try to antagonize his brother ''too'' much, but it is revealed in the same chapter that this is because said brother scares him.
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: In ''Ultimate'', he offhandedly mentions that Luke used to torment him when they were young, and Jan is still implied to fear Luke to some extent even in the present day when they are working together. This still isn't treated as something that makes him fully sympathetic, and he is still very much a dangerous villain that threatens Hecksing, London, and the entire world. [[spoiler:Him outliving his own bully and still going on to be villainous also sells that his backstory isn't meant to be a fully redeeming feature]].

Gag Boobs has been renamed to Boob Based Gag. Changing to the proper trope where appropriate and cutting misuse.

Here, however, she is supposedly a beauty goddess, who bears [[GagBoobs incredibly large breasts]] (exactly how large is never consistent) and has the ability to "charm" others into basically doing whatever she wants. While she never uses this in combat (although that was the original plan before Jan hijacks it), her accidentally exposing herself to Doctor actually saved her from getting fired, and it's implied that she could have turned ''Alucard'' on the Millennium's side. Plus, her regular outfit amounts to just a shirt (going to be ret-conned to a bra sometime around the end of July to the beginning of August) and a ''thong''. And both of them are made out of a material that becomes see-through when wet. Which happens often.
