Webcomic Bizarre Christian Propaganda
Without going into too much detail, I cannot recommend this to any readers because it's so blatantly Christian propaganda. The situation with the World Council and Alizongle, especially with how the story progresses, is very blatantly intended to create a situation in which Christians are victimized and targetted for their beliefs. No other religion is discussed like this, and a not-insignificant portion of the comic is just Bible quotes. The ending especially, while framed as a good thing, often produces nightmarish situations you hear about in docu-dramas rather than any kind of proper societal good. Don't touch this thing with a ten-foot pole.
Webcomic I'm legitimately concerned the author fell in with a cult
Let me be honest here, this thing is heavy-handed 'oh woe is me, we Christians are so persecuted' propaganda. The author's note makes it abundantly clear that that is what it is intended to be. Coupled with the author's ending of so many of her projects, the references they made in the author's note, and a variety of other comments they've made, it seems that the author has fallen in with some kind of fundamentalist group.
It's...disheartening. I can't read any of their other works anymore. Not when I know that someone who believes the kind of nonsense (referring to everyone not fundamentalist as sinners, for one) is still writing it.
This isn't a good comic. The art is cute, but the content is...just bland propaganda.
