In general, the manga is overall very nice to read. The characters are fun, though some of their issues - like Hori's 'secret life' that she tries to hide from her friends - seem vastly out of proportion and not that big.
The Horimiya relationship overall is enjoyable, you see them get along well and get closer, with them also balancing each other out nicely. But I personally felt 'wrong' when the two of them had their relationship advance in Chapter 37.
I can't quite say what it is, I just do not feel comfortable when a manga-highschool-couple begins having sex. Especially the revelation that Hori's younger brother, Sota, was there when it happened. That just really pressed my "Ew!!" button. Fortunately, it has not been made much of and did not become any focus past that chapter.
The minor characters range from hilarious (Hori's father) to okay to wondering what purpose they serve. Perhaps it's my usual intolerance of unnecessary drama from teenagers, but the more recent issues of the minor characters and how they cannot say it just makes me want to yell, "JUST DO IT ALREADY AND STOP MOPING!"
Manga Enjoyable Enough
