Literature Not nearly as good as the first
To be honest, this was a pretty disappointing read compared to the previous book in the series. The main characters just sort of bounce around space with no real rhyme or reason for anything, since they're not in danger of running into anyone they know there isn't the suspense of accidentally revealing their identities, and the new characters they meet generally aren't as interesting as the cast of the previous book.
Quite honestly it feels like this was originally planned to be set in a different series and changed over to the Inscrutable Machine at the last minute. Heck, the title isn't even a serious plot point and when the event does happen it's quickly forgotten.
Overall, I found it disappointing considering the promise that the first novel had as the start of a series.
