Seeing that this is about Apple Bloom being pregnant with Spike's baby, it shouldn't surprise that this is a pretty heavy fic, but it is. There's alot conflicts arising not only due to Bloom's pregnancy, but also because of a relationship between a Pony and a Dragon.
Other characters' reactions is pretty show-accurate, but I have to give the author props for Rarity, whose viewpoints are rather bigoted, but yet something you'd expect from her based on what's in the show.
The issue of teen pregnancy is remarkably realistic for a FIM fanfic. There's even a discussion of abortion in the fic, and even though the "a" word is never uttered, it's presented in a tasteful matter.
