Do take in to account that you are using a different Naruto. He gets sent there during his four tailed fight with Orochimaru, before that the hardest fight he'd had was against Kimimaro, who utterly crushed him and would have killed him had Lee not intervened. Deidara doesn't count because they hardly fought and Deidara was at a huge disadvantage.
A lot of your 'nerfed' complaints sound like someone who's taken fanon as canon. Do the shinobi have experience? yes, they do. Does Naruto have experience? yes he does.
Have they fought Gods, people who can literally upset the magnetic balance of the earth, dealt with giant robots, misiles, nukes, and the like? No, no they have not. The Marvel characters are going to be more experienced than Naruto at the time.
I agree, the one who wrote this review, read the first chapter saw that Naruto lost and decided that he just couldn't handle it. Missing out on the rest of the fic, simple because someone was not as powerful as they wanted him to be.
I concur with Mr Thug. One thing to bear in mind is that the X-men can handle people like Quicksilver. If you can stop a guy running as fast or faster than SOUND, then you can handle the speed of Ninja in the Narutoverse. In a real sense, humans in the Marvel universe aren't anymore human than the humans in the Narutoverse. Both can do things and react to things in ways that are far beyond what is possible. I think Meinos does an exceedingly good job of finding a balance there.
Naruto also gets a lot more character development in this Fic than he does in canon, which is pretty nice. Bear in mind that Naruto, even after the Time Skip, is portrayed is woefully foolish. He may technically have experience, but he doesn't use it. He's still running headlong into things without thinking most of the time. While he may have the raw skills of an A-class Ninja, he doesn't use them how an A-class ninja would. This causes him loads of problems in the Manga, and frankly I don't think it was ever really examined very well in canon. This Fic does examine it, and in doing so allows Naruto to confront and overcome this problem of his (with a little help).
It's a great Fic.

I\'m afraid that I\'ll have to do some agreeing and disagreeing. I agree that the power leveling and character development is good but everything else sucks. There are so many spelling and grammar mistakes and there is just so much ooc going on. Not to mention the fact that the author has Naruto almost constantly making out with several similarly aged girls. Then the there\'s the fact that the plot is nothing more than a copy/paste of the Civil War story line just with Naruto thrown in. And on a personal bias, Emma \"Bitch Queen\" Frost is a central character.

Its a bad Fic. With no offense to comment before before but...

No reading is one of the most unbalanced, badly written Marvel/Naruto fic this troper has ever read.
Let me give you a few examples: Wolverine managed to overpowered Naruto in two seconds, while destroying his clones, taking him by surprise and subdued him instantly with his claws.
Naruto is nearly an A-class — S-class Nin. His velocity is enough to make him a dangerous opponent, let alone his other attributes. The problem is not that Wolverine defeated him; is the way he was defeated. It was so easy, so fast (and the reaction of Naruto so unbelievable non-canon) that make it look nerfed. Yes, he had the experience (as pointed by the Author) but so do Naruto. He had faced some of the most deadly Shinobi alive and come victorious/non dead. A single opponent could posses all the abilities of the X-men and the experience and brutality to use it in ways that would make Deadpool proud.
And Naruto was intimidated by Claws.... Hurt...So...Much.
Okay, definition of nerfed: When a character/class/race is brought down to the enjoyment/fair play in a game or a story, many times with the contrary result and causing strife in the community, more so of those who used said character/class/race.

But must be satisfactory, dramatic, at the very least to give them a sporting change. The way the fights are done is completely dull and seems more like watching a Tabletop Game and some people are throwing the dice... a very dull Tabletop game. This troper can almost literally see the numbers in the characters when they face attack against attack.
Mainly I would say the Fic don't know how to make a crossover without incurring in imbalance, without going gushing Shipping one character or another or (and where my money go) it confuse backstory with justification.
The rest is not very good. The action seems forced. The personalities are wooden. The way Logan act is just so... bizarre, like he is in character and the next moment is the author talking.
And It gets Worse.
If you want a good written, well thought, non wanking crossover Fic, No reading is the furthest thing you would want to read.
