A story that WILL get an emotion out of you

The first time I read this, it inspired me to write better. From a technical standpoint, while not perfect, it's epic. The details are more than enough, the worldbuilding greatly expands on Sonichu, many characters are made complex, and I like the Honey Badgers, especially Serge.

The chus and Chris are basically nearly the same, except slightly less effective and greatly stripped off their Protagonist-Centered Morality. Many of them are just plain vile. I liked how the True Blue, who were sidelined in the original, were treated as somewhat effective and quite complex.

Ironically, despite the POV switch, the Jerkops are worse than before, although still better than their enemies. The original Jerkops did nothing to deserve what they had been through. They were merely brainwashed to stop people from soliciting sex and were saying mean things on the Internet. Here, every single one of them has slaughtered several baby chus, sometimes for fun and most of the time very brutally. Though, to be fair, all of them do have several humanizing moments and do show a little regret when their minds aren't clouded by the oppression the chus are inflicting on them.

The fight scenes are engaging, showing the blows having an impact and are detailed. Since Kevin and his friends are seen as mooks in the greater scheme of things until Headgeclipper, there are several mook-to-mook battles in detail, which make the scale feel much larger. Even the baby chus can sometimes be a threat. And when the big fights do come, they live up to the hype. Even summed up, the finale rocks.

I also like some of the references to Christory, albeit not all of them. For example, I didn't like seeing Bluespike's antics portrayed in a positive light, and some of the chu executions (especially considering the Homebreds can't really fight back, their crime is being spoiled rotten) were waaay too far for "selfish brats". Also, whatever you do, do not skip straight to Hedgeclipper. The executions are beyond overkill, and you have to see what the chus have done first if you want to enjoy the retribution even a little.

Overall, the story is either awesome, scary or disgusting. Sometimes all three.

(Edit: I see there have been some edits to make the chus worse and the Jerkops better in terms of brutality. They are more than welcome, considering the line in morality being blurry is the one big sore spot of the story)

(Edit 2: The author responded, the Jerkops aren't supposed to be that heroic either, just less bad than the Chus. In that aspect? The story is self-aware)
