Before I started reading this manga, I was warned that the beginning would be a slog to get through. And it was. The way Neuro treated Yako was really unpleasant, Yako herself seemed to be just along for the ride, and the lack of overarching plot made most chapters feel like filler. I kept reading more out of stubborness than anything, but I'm really glad I did. Things started to pick up in Phantom Thief arc, and by the time HAL arc began, I was well and truly hooked. This manga is 100% worth your time (even though you might want to skim through the first part)
