I know it may sound stupid,but im probably right: The MK franchise basically saved the gaming industry from falling into the "it's for children and only for children" pit that other industries had fallen into and never came back.The first game,with it's blood and gore,did an uproar and made many parents complain (even the ESRB had been created because of it).Some time later,Came out Mortal Kombat 9 and did another uproar and made more parents complain.Even to this day,MK amazes and shooks people with it's fatalities and other aspects.17/20 for MK as a whole.
