I've given up on this fic as of chapter 5. The writing style is way too tedious for me, and one big reason it's tedious is because every single main character so far has been given one really annoying talent: the Sherlock deduction. Seriously, all it takes is one smirk or glance from another character, and the point of view character slows time to a crawl to go on a multi paragraph inner monologue describing with unbelievable accuracy that character's personality and what they're thinking. I'm pretty sure this story would be a third the size if that was removed. This is made all the more jarring by the fact that most of the characters that do this are canonically hot heads and horrible judges of character.
