I started reading it one afternoon, and didn't stop until I was finished. It was dark out. I felt something tickle my face. When I reached up and touch my cheek, I realized I was crying.
A few months later, one Friday afternoon at lunch, I told a friend that she ought to read it. Saturday evening at about 6 I got a single text message from her:
"I hate you"
Several years later, after a movie, I told yet another friend she should read it. The next morning I woke up and she had sent me this message:
"OP, why would you do this, its 3am and my heart is breaking."
It breaks your heart and puts it back together. You will weep, but there will be happy tears too.
