A new take on 'fix it' fics

Ok. This fic starts of a little odd and gets weirder. Basically Sirensoundwave has this concept she applies to several fictional universes where everthing is overseen by a guardian, the creator of that world. But unlike the traditional sense of a god, these beings are not only fallable but subject to this complex set of rules and a force known as the Affinity. They can technically do what they please but screwing up has consequences. Truth is the FMA guardian but rather do his actual job, he casts off undesirable parts of himself thus allowing Alchemy to be available to anyone with the gumption to learn it. Which we later learn is BAD. Only his 'children' should have this power. Enter the Elrics...

Not a fan of OCs? Don't worry the only one so far is only around for half the first chapter then she's gone. She gets used as a sort of plot device to explain the how, why and how royally Truth messed up his own reality. She is however a character that binds Sirensoundwave's Reality of Chaos fics together so I guess that's not too bad.

Siren takes vague or undefined aspects, plotholes and sometimes universally hated FMA things and gives them purpose. I especially like how she spins backstory and justifies what appear otherwise as radically OOC traits. Ed and Al are basically the same but she ramps up their polar opposite personalities a little. Enough to fit her writing style but not so much that they aren’t the characters we know and love. For example Ed is now slightly creepy and mean while Al is very forgiving and wanting people to learn from their mistakes but in context of it all, she makes it work.

For all its oddity it's full of drama, angst and a examination into the FMA world that deep and still darkly humorous. Sirensoundwave carefully walks us through this Wonderland she has created without being boring or tedious. Awesome, underated read that's ongoing. A few errors here and there (not sure if she has a beta) but still enjoyable.
