Absolutely wonderful story, with excellent characterizations and character/relationship development. Each pairing is well explained and incorporated, and they're easy to appreciate even if you don't quite support them. At first the deviations in point of view away from the main story of Antonio and Romano may seem a bit random and not all that connected, but overall they really contribute a lot of development, back story, and perspective to the main plot, as well as being interesting themselves. The one chapter from the other side's point of view, that of Romano, is very poignant and extremely well placed. Overall the procession and passage of time is very natural, and when a character or relationship further develops it makes sense. Very nice and appreciable writing style overall.
This fanfic is rather addicting, I've read it several times and enjoyed it each time. It's cute and funny while while still maintaining an appreciable amount of realism and seriousness that makes the relationships realistic and respectable - in the end you're not so much squealing over the pairings as cheering them on and really hoping they work out. There's definitely moments of angst and sadness and feels that provide a wonderful turning point. Overall it is definitely an enjoyable and fun read, so I'd definitely recommend it.
