Here is a case of Examples Are Not Recent. I'm not familiar with this work, so if anybody knows what arc is being talked about, please fix it:
- Boring Invincible Villain: Asura is proving to be this in the latest story arc. Nothing hurts him, he curb stomps everyone and even Kid's full power as a Shinigami is useless.
- Heck they can't even kill the guy. They just wound him enough that he seals himself around the moon in an effort to trap the heroes with him. We don't even get the pleasure of him having a Villainous Breakdown. Yeah it suppose to be symbolic that madness won't just disappear and we have to keep it at bay with our own strength but still...
I get the feeling that some of the things listed here are just the opinion(s) of someone who made the edits. First off, to list Eruka as an Asshole Victim, even if you don't like her, is incorrect; it's a death trope, and so far, Eruka is still alive as of late.
Secondly, listing Maka as The Scrappy. I don't know just how true this is (I don't hear very often from Soul Eater fans that they utterly detest Maka Albarn), but that trope is for characters who have a considerable amount of hate from fans of the show. No "love" for Excalibur?

For They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character, couldn't you list off several characters? Like Kilik, Ox, Harvar, Dengu, Djinn, etc.? They seem to have importance but are defined by one or two little things but nothing else.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.
