Bringing this Win Back the Crowd entry to discussion since it's currently the subject of an Edit War:

Doi as a demon designer has generally had a history of being seen as a hit-or-miss kind of designer, often taking too many liberties or overdesigning his creations. The new demons from this game however were met with far better reception upon first exposure, both seen as sticking closer to their respective source materials and in general being more utilitarian in execution.

I think this should be deleted as not only is there no concrete evidence that Doi's designs caused the franchise take enough of a hit to need a saving throw, but it also violates this part of the Win Back the Crowd page:

No Recent Examples, Please! You can't say a work has won back its crowd if it hasn’t been released yet. A week after release should be enough to allow for enough people to experience the work to make a proper judgement on it.
