what bullshit? seemed like an accurate diagnosis at the time. it's not his fault the sequels retconned it.

Norman was way older than 12. According to Psycho Norma died 10 years ago. And Norman was clearly older than 22. Also in Psycho IV he was 16 years old. Only in Psycho 2 he claims to have been 12. Either a mistake by the writers or a lie towards Mary to make it seem he was a child who did not know better.
