So, who exactly are these "some" that hate GLaDOS? I haven't seen a single hint of hate towards her anywhere. (Well, there's the whole "wanting to kill you" thing, but no one's perfect).

Alright, The Scrappy is a misused enough trope as it is like to worsen the problem with more entries like this.
The Scrappy is not a scapegoat for Complaining About Characters That You Don't Like, but is for characters that have a massive hatedom behind them without having an equal fandom alongside them (that would make them a Base Breaker instead).
