I haven't read the comics, so is Lyra being Unintentionally Unsympathetic referring to her behavior in the comics? In the show itself, she gets along fine with Aura until Aura reveals that she's not planning on defeating Nar Est and that she just took Niko's weapon so she could leave the pools and explore the world.
Even if she is suffering from abandonment issues (which isn't clear at all until the end of the episode), she still could've waited for Niko to defeat Nar Est or gone and defeated him herself, before going on her own journey. Lyra seemed to have every right to be harsh toward her after she lied to them.
