Also known as The Legacy of Sevenpeaks, Witch Hunter is a scripted Dark Fantasy podcast written by Domien De Groot.
The story takes place in the city of Sevenpeaks and revolves around Ludlov, a Witch Hunter who, in his investigation of a devil-worshiping cult, uncovers an ancient conspiracy that could bring about the end of the world.
- Badass Normal: All witch hunters are trained to be this in order to combat witches.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Ludlov is one of the most friendly people in Sevenpeaks, but he won't hesitate to kill anyone who is a danger to himself or others.
- Big Bad: The Teacher, who is revealed to be Adomir, Ludlov's mentor and surrogate father.
- Broken Pedestal: Both of Ludlov's Parental Substitutes have this bad. His boss, Grand General Hoskiv, turns out to be a paranoid zealot who thinks the best way of saving Sevenpeaks is committing genocide. As for Adomir, he's an evil cult leader who either wants to hand the world over to the equivalent of Satan or take it over for himself as the new demon lord. Needless to say, he's disappointed in them both.
- Deuteragonist: Samina, a young gypsy woman who Ludlov saves and befriends.
- Don't Fear the Reaper: Death is actually very friendly and is implied not to like his job that much.
- The Dragon: Sigurd, Samina's brother.
- The Dreaded: Ludlov is the most feared and respected witch hunter in the entire Order.
- God: The citizens of Sevenpeaks worship a deity simply known as the Goddess.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Lucchus, the Goddess's most trusted archangel who betrayed her by murdering the Maiden and is waiting to be freed from his imprisonment in Hell so that he can destroy the world.
- The Grim Reaper: The overarching narrative is Ludlov in a purgatorial void, telling Death about the events that led up to his... well, death.
- Lesser of Two Evils: Ludlov sees his membership in the Witch Hunter Order as this, believing that the organization, no matter how corrupt, is the only thing standing between mankind and total annihilation.
- The Purge: The Magicide Act, which authorizes the genocide of the entire mage population in Sevenpeaks.
- Messianic Archetype: The Maiden, the Goddess's daughter who was murdered by Lucchus.
- The Order: The Witch Hunter Order was an organization founded to combat supernatural threats, but over the centuries, has devolved into a cult of fanatics who want to completely destroy magic by any means necessary.
- Satanic Archetype: Lucchus.
- The Stoic: Despite being half-insane, Hoskiv is actually very composed and rarely betrays any emotion.
- Token Good Teammate: Ludlov is the only member of the Order who is completely unprejudiced towards magic-users and treats them fairly. He even has an almost religious appreciation for magic. This is partially due to Ludlov's late wife being a witch.
