The very point of YMMV is that some might agree and others won't.
For example, people on Reddit for the most part still continue to suck this show's dick despite it's blatant decline in quality, while people on Nohomers have easily picked up on it's decline to the point where R&R threads for the episodes were eventually dropped because as of this season there's really only two or three people (myself included) that give enough of a shit to still give their thoughts on an episode (if they're even still watching as I've seen a lot of them give up on the show altogether).
The problem is the framing. If it's just people on Nohomers who hate the show now, and the rest of the internet fandom seems pretty hot on it still, then the page is inaccurate, as the page claims that these are majority opinions held by the mainstream.
The opinions of people who dislike the show are valid and worth considering, but you shouldn't paint them as the majority unless they actually are.
Edited by WickedIconI think this page needs a massive cleanup. YMMV is for what everybody everywhere thinks not just in this site. Especially that Never Live It Done trope. It is only here that Steve is thought to be irredeemably evil, this is not the case with other sites.
Hide / Show RepliesI agree as well. It comes across as someone having a MASSIVE hissy fit over the show hurting his widdle feelings.
Edited by TheWowSignalDoes this page come across as whiny to anyone else?
Hide / Show RepliesNot really. YMMV pages list opinions after all.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWelcome to TV Tropes. Sadly, the inability to tolerate Comedic Sociopathy is apparently the norm around here.
Someone named Wartzanall just removed a lot of material. Given the lack of an edit reason, I've reverted it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, so can the person who keeps adding Roger as The Scrappy please quit it? I am not being biased when I say that he is by far the show's most popular character. Just go anywhere else on the internet and you'll see. Remember, Scrappies are hated by the majority of the fans. This isn't a place to list characters that you personally dislike.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI understand that TV Tropes has editorial rules and that it's up to us as users to follow them to the best of our ability. However, do people HAVE to be so damn uptight about repairs when they explain why an edit is "wrong"? Even if they don't mean to be, they can come across as jerks. (It's what I think.)
Hide / Show RepliesUh ... yes? I do not see anything seriously out of line there (except for the Moral Event Horizon removals - we do list various potential crossings since different people have different opinions on when it happened).
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI actually felt a bit hurt with my Complete Monster entry being removed. I mean, maybe Roger doesn't count, if that's what was decided. But the user didn't explain why Roger did not qualify. My basis for Roger/Ricky Spanish being one is that even if Roger has to do it or else he dies, he enjoys doing it anyway For the Evulz, so it makes sense that his moral compass is destroyed since day one- even if it's for Rule of Funny. The Moral Event Horizon one that mentioned the Fridge Brilliance regarding his conscience also made perfect sense to me: I mean, yes, Roger has always been a Jerkass, but it wasn't so obvious before Brains, Brains and Automobiles. What if his conscience was holding him back somehow from going to the natural extremes?
Ah, yeah. I think you'll have to propose it here.

Er... what, exactly, is going on here?
This page is really, bizarrely negative towards the TBS seasons and seems to treat it as a general fandom opinion, when, if anything, I have mostly seen people comment on the show having improved with the channel hop.
