According to statements by and interviews with both writer Dan Slott and editor Nick Lowe, the Spider-Man who was killed by Daemos in Spider-Verse was indeed the one from the animated series.

The Marvel Comics Database wiki is not a reliable source of information in this case, as they made the deliberate decision to disregard Dan Slott's retcons as "alternate universes" in retaliation against his statement that the databooks (which the wiki exists as an online version of) were non-canon.

The Earth number really counts as a retcon? After all, if i am not mistaken, the Appenddix of the Marvel Universe is not an official site.
