Hey, Creamydreamy. I'm the one who started this article and wrote the intro text. After reading your comment, I decided you had some valid points, so I removed the Care Bears reference and rewrote some of the text. I decided to leave in some of the praise, though; as for LPS being "a very ugly and annoying show", we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I think the person who wrote the intro likes this show too much. S/he just gushes over it and it feels much too biased.
I did read an interview that said it was inspired by Tiny Toons, I'll find the link, but I must say.
The cruel jab at the Care Bears is inexcusable. Care Bears was one of my favorite cartoons growing up, and it helped me get through depression. I watched "The Great Race" today and it was as funny, cute, goofy, heartwarming, lively and exciting as I remember. It had some sharp dialogue, moe moments, and it was full of slapstick. Swiftheart Rabbit was as sassy and speedy as I remember. She will always be my favorite cousin.
Meanwhile, Littlest Pet Shop was a very ugly and annoying show. It was somewhat witty but the characters weren't cute or even likable at all. They just weren't very moe or appealing in any way.
I smurfly despise TV Tropes' ugliness, so I'm going to beautify it. Winky is the perfect friend! He always agrees with me. Hide / Show Replies
