WMG: Pomni is a hacker who got unwilling trapped in the Digital Circus and they found themselves way above their head.

Just, think about it. The first thing she tried to do was try and remove her headset. The next thing she tried to do is test out the cursing censor by pretty much yelling every curse word she could think of at that moment. When she got a glimpse of the exit, she didn't give up looking for it until she went through the door, and even then, she just kept going through each corridor. In the second episode, she is knowledgeable enough about the Internet, to refer to the adventure as LARP. She is also aware of NP Cs and their role in a game, as well as how to use, or rather abuse the collision physics of a 3d environment, in the same manner a hacker would test out the limits of a video game. Beneath the woobie we know Pomni as, hides a mind which is adept at thinking outside the box, tests out the limits imposed to it and take advantage of the system. She has the mindset of someone who is looking beyond the presented options.

Also, Gooseworx has said that the characters do remember part of their lives, they just forget their names. Who is to say that skills and way of thinking aren't there as well?

Considering all the theories just from one episode alone, we might have to consider making separate threads/sections for them.
