Removed this one from Unwinnable because Guybrush can return the junk to the store to get a full refund... I'm not aware of any version or port lacking this kindness but please please readd it if the money is in fact lost forever in some plattform or another.
It is also possible to do this in Le Chuck's Revenge if you buy everything in the store on Booty Island. Examples include the Elvis plates and hubcap, neither of which are used in game.
