The cult just seems to have “Jamba-“ as their name theming (their mobile fortress is Jambastion, their troops are Jammerjabs, their central base is Jambandra, and they have the Jamba Heart). I go with Jambastion since the generals are referred to as the “Jambastion mages” in pause descriptions and there’s no other quick way to refer to the group collectively.
I’m pretty sure the reason they’re called the Jambastion Mages is because their job is to guard Jambastion. But I guess if there’s no other name to call them by, then what can you do?
For that matter, where is it ever stated that they're a "cult"?

They worship a deity that wants to destroy all of existence. It doesn’t really need to be said outright, they’re obviously cult-like.
I don't know why, but I have a small nitpick with the Exotic Eye Designs trope on this page. It states that Kirby's eyes have stars in them, reflecting one of the themes of the game, but that's only in the artwork they used for the cover art. All other images featuring Star Allies related artwork for Kirby Himself don't have the stars, like the new copy abilities or the Friend Heart mechanic.

I think that could be fixed by adding that the stars in Kirby's eyes are exclusive to the cover.

Why do we keep referring to Hyness and the mages as the “Jambastion Cult”? Is that their official name? I thought Jambastion was just the name of their fortress.
