Regarding Henry, the main character: I have not seen many video game characters who are illiterate, in fact it's almost a given that player characters in games are able to read. However, something that has acutely interested me is not only Henry's inability to read initially (and the very clever way that is implemented in game), and Henry's actual reading level.

Once Henry does manage to learn to read, he has a relatively low reading level, and when the scholar who teaches him sits him in front of two books, it looks as though the letters are slightly jumbled, not too dissimilar as how dyslexic people describe their own experiences with reading.

Granted, Henry has to overcome illiteracy, but if he has dyslexia, would that make him the first video game character to actually have it?

HOW is this a CRPG?

It’s not my impression that there is any kind of character sheet that defines the player character as an individual, with stats that can differ from one playthrough to the next, e.g. based on character creation choices, or on character advancement.

Let’s NOT dillute the term RPG/CRPG. If this is a first person action game, then it should be called that.

Yes, it is an RPG.

The description on GOG mentions: "Character development: Improve your skills, earn new perks, and forge and upgrade your equipment." They also have it tagged as a role-playing game in Genre.

The address of the official website of the game is kingdomcomerpg.com, and the site, as well as Steam and Wikipedia, all describe it as an RPG.

Remember that CRPG simply means Computer Role-Playing Game, which includes action RP Gs.
