This troper has the following to share on the topic of The Gone Jackals. A couple of years after the release of the game, at the height of the Napster-era of Internet I was downloading the soundtrack to this game. Not only did I find the entire "Bone To Pick" album in the hands of one user, I also stumbled across the "Out And About With The Gone Jackals" and "Blue Pyramid" album. Interested in all three, I contacted the user offering all Gone Jackals songs. The user told me he was one of the band members (Maynard) and informed me that the band essentially broke up after the Blue Pyramid album. He also told me the story about how they were treated by Lucas Arts: offered a bum contract and missing out on a lot of money even while the game Full Throttle did remarkably well. I did what everyone would do under those circumstances: leech the rest of the songs (to which he was perfecly ok with) and promise the albums for real someday. Suffice it to say, I own all albums now (except for Faith Healer).
