Is the Love Hina entry accurate? I checked its YMMV page where the stated reason the author got death threats was because of the Audience-Alienating Ending

Should we put a general section in this page? I feel that there are a lot of recurring examples in anime and manga that warrant it.

Is it ironic that the person/people writing in this topic are so unabashedly direct in evaluating the tropes as compared to their own cultural/social mores when the whole point of the trope is that some things don't make that transition well?

In other words: In reading an article about the topic, why would the writer make value judgments about the specific examples discussed when the whole point is that not everyone might view it the same way? Instead of being informative, it becomes pedagoguery.
