So I've been hearing a persistent rumor that Season 4 is a rushed attempt to get the series back on track after the COVID-19 Pandemic, with the story being Time Skipped ahead to developments that would have been used in a now-cancelled Season 5. As the story goes, the producers were unwilling to give the series another year to flesh out its story and simply wanted things wrapped up ASAP. And as a result, we get things like Hector and Lenore's relationship suddenly being on good terms after he was despondent, the Styrian Sisters becoming suspicious of Carmilla's ambitions, Isaac taking a nicer, more benevolent approach to his character arc, and more.
Does anyone have any sources that confirm this to be true. And, if this is true, then would it be a valid Christmas Rushed entry?
