In Season 2, Episode 2, 'Dumpling Destruction', during the fight against Huntsman in the Monkey King's treasure room, when MK ends up pinned down, Tang reaches for a weapon nearby that seems to be a dead ringer the Buster Sword of Final Fantasy fame. Clearly seen here [1]◊ and here [2]◊.
I mean, it turns out to be a transforming sword that morphs into a laser cannon of sorts, but its default shape seem to make it pretty obvious in what it's supposed to pay homage to.
Is that enough to qualify as a Shout-Out or is that a bit too much of a stretch?
Edited by ShogunTrooperName was supposed to be "Shotgun Trooper". A missing "t" turned me into a Japanese Warlord.
