The Characters page was recently divided into three sub-pages by pepsimax. Was it really large enough that it needed to be divided this way?

There is something of an edit war going on with the entry that is currently:

Laser-Guided Karma: Reed Strucker, the bigoted prosecutor who specialised in mutant cases, is forced to go through what he put other mutants and their families through and watch his family suffer under the laws he supported.

The name has toggled between Laser-Guided Karma and Hoist by His Own Petard, and the word "bigoted" has been added and removed.

Can we discuss this entry here, come to some consensus, and stop the edit war?

I don't think there's any indication in the series that Reed is bigoted against mutants. Quite the opposite, flashbacks to before the series (IE the girl in the bowling alley) indicate he was always sympathetic, but naively believed in upholding the law as written, and that the law was fair. It was only his experiences with Sentinel Services that revealed that he was blind in his faith in justice.

For the record, I agree that Reed was not bigoted against mutants. Naive yes, but bigoted no.

And I don't see how Hoist by His Own Petard applies, since that's a villain trope, and since Reed's plans/weapons didn't lead to his downfall/death. I think Laser-Guided Karma is more applicable to this situation. Although there might be some other trope that is more applicable still, and I'm just not aware of it.
