The character may be Anne Protheroe in the book, but she's specifically Ann in the series. I've just checked closing credits to confirm the spelling.
General references to season one, season two and made-for-tv movies are so that we can hide Self-Fulfilling Spoilers that reveal the murderer, twist or additional victims for a particular story, while still giving readers who haven't seen every episode some warning as to which part of the series an example will spoil.

Do you have any concerns if we revert those changes?
