The GBA didn't have the nes' "fm" sound chip (the nes' sound hardware was basically a pulse sound generator), it simply reused the Zilog Z80 cpu the original Game Boy/Color used for games' sound.

In my opinion the soundtrack for Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance is one of the best Game Boy soundtracks ever. The devs weren't familiar with the gba's own sound hardware so for most of the game's development they created music off the z80's ability to output PSG magic, with only a few sounds like the intro, the game over jingle and the end credits song using the gba's sound hardware.

Shouldn't there be some mention of the E-reader? Or was it too close to discontinuity? I never owned one so I really don't know.
