The last two examples have no context and have to go away. The first two look fine, though - they are a Seinfeld Is Unfunny reaction.

While I'm sure that a quarter century would have a toll on any science fiction franchise, it seems a bit of an exaggeration to say that Patrick Stewart is the only thing going for Next Generation.
Does the technology section at the bottom really fit this trope? Isn't there another trope for that (Technology Marches On)?
