thank you for posting this guys, i was wondering what Green day, the sex pistols and the Talking Heads had in common to make them all punk.

"green and black" is the color scheme for green anarchism. earth crisis may be green, but they're pretty right wing/fascist leaning.

It wasn't until Nirvana hit it big in the '90s that punk saw a resurgence, as bands such as Bad Religion, Green Day, and Rancid began coming to the forefront... at the same time, bands such as Sum 41 and Good Charlotte were also emerging... Then Hot Topic emerged...
