I would like to suggest changing the name to "Every Episode Villain" I think it would describe better what the trope is about, with the current title as a re-direct.

On second thoughts; keep in mine that this trope is not only use in television, there are franchise-wide examples, so the word episode can be missleading. For example Skelethor is the villain in both animated series AND the live action movie, Dr. Claw is the villain in the animated series, the movies, the comics and the video games. That's the "exclusivity" part, is like if the villain has some "exclusitivity" contract in the franchise.

Good point, I retire my suggestion.
