What about human-powered vehicles? I'm thinking of the unicycles from Uniracers. Likewise in Pixar's short film, Red's Dream.

That is to say, vehicles normally human-powered, but sentient in this medium.
Is Lightning Mc Queen really the best page image? I can think of much more iconic examples, such as Thomas the Tank Engine, Speed Buggy, any of the machines from Bob the Builder, K.I.T.T. etc.
