I think that's "Jaws" First-Person Perspective.

So there is at least a couple games that have something that looks like this trope, but isn't it. Specifically, it's found in the first boss in Battletoads and the third boss in Phantom Hourglass, where you merely see from the perspective of the boss but still play as the player. I call this Boss-Eye View, is there anything more to this trope?
