A related incident happens in a Beerkada comic (not quite the same trick though, so I'm putting it here): Glen owes Alan money (I think it was him...), in an odd amount (113 pesos?), so Glen gives 200, expecting 87 in change. Alan gives him 100, asking for 13. They offer differing amounts until Alan asks for a single piso. Glen looks in his wallet ... and says has none (or does he...?). Alan asks him to pay tomorrow instead.
