I would dispute that "Strawberry Fields Forever" is an example of "sunny, optimistic" psychedelia. The lyrics are about Lennon's feelings of inability to relate to others, and although the music starts out soft and dreamy, it soon switches to heavy, ominous orchestration and it ends with one of the best-known examples of Last Note Nightmare in rock history. I'd reclassify it as the "intense, head trip" type.
... Jesus, did I write this trainwreck? I can't believe how stupid it looks on a re-read. And it has no tropes! Gah!
